Rokua Geopark information centre Suppa, near our  accommodation place, is modern place to get knowledge about the local nature and history. Several posters show how it has been there thousands of years ago when it was ice time. Short walk in forest was nice too.

 

In Wood company, M and P Tervonen, two men make wooden boats and furnitures to all who need them. They have special skills for that. Visit there was good.

 

Old centre have church, Säräisniemen kirkko, since 1781. It is wooden and nowadays on use in summer. Visit to there was good possibility to show local history.

 

Afternoon we used several hours on project work. Planning next meeting and what to do before that and evalution.

 

In the evening we had Christmas dinner in Rokua Spa and Santa Claus came to meet us! Great!
